Y’all. So like everyone else, my majesty palm has been shaky since I brought her home. I’m finally seeing some growth here and there but still have brown, dried out leaves. I’ve been pruning for a while but don’t want to overdo it. Should I cut the stem where it’s no longer green, cut off the specific leaves, or leave as is and hope it comes back (at the expense of other growth)? Please help!

Is something wrong with my PPP (“Peach”) or is this natural, they are the original leaves when i got the plant… although some of the newer leaves seem to be looking sickly..? I have it in well draining soil, in a clear pot so i can monitor the roots and they look fine. Use a grow light.. i do sometimes go a week to a week and a half sometimes without watering.. 😅😂 only sometimes though… TIA

My aloe plant has some droopy arms that seem to be unattached from the main plant. Any tips on what to do?

Does anyone know how to deal with spider mites? One of my spider plants just came down with them. So annoying!😣 I moved it away from all my other plants and sprayed it with some watered down rubbing alcohol and dish soap but I just want to make sure I’m dealing with this correctly. Thanks

What’s y’all diagnosis for this little succulent? There’s some root rot (I think) so I’m gonna treat it for that. My aunt thinks there might be something else fungal going on.

my christmas cactus has been outside all summer and is thriving in the light, but recently it developed two brown, dry spots. Does anyone know what they might be? I thought maybe it was getting too hot, so I brought it inside.

hi! when i bought my alocasia zebrina from the garden centre, a couple of its leaves had brown ends (likely due to under-watering and perhaps too much light) but im just wondering if this goes away with time/what are measures i can take to ensure that it does go away/doesnt progress?

I purchased a snake plant and repotted it in the same nursery pot, but using a mix of succulent, orchid, and perlite. This was 4 days ago and the soil is still very wet. The reason I repotted it was because the soil was too wet when I purchased it. Do you think I should repot with a chunkier mix?

Hello I wondered if anyone had any ideas what was wrong with my nerve plant so it used to be in a humid jar and was thriving then suddenly it started wilting so I looked into it and some people said it’s overwatered or not watered enough but either way it looks so dry and wilted any ideas? Thank you

My San Marzano Tomato’s haven’t been ripening. They have been on the vine since the beginning of this month with little change. Is this normal or is something wrong?

Hi there , Hoping I can get some help with my sweet potato vine. I noticed this yellowing and spotting on the leaves and some have wilting on outer edges. I sprayed the leaves with Arber insecticide spray on Monday evening because I noticed little bugs munching away on the leaves. I’m not sure how to help bring it back to the beautiful green color. Am I possibly overwatering? Thank you !

I got a gardenia plant from my local nursery here in Ottawa and it drew well for a few months, but we’ve had some uncertain weather with rain and then low temperature and then again. I I have fertilized this plant, I watered the plant regularly. I have not reported it because the the Nursery owner told me to leave it in the same pot for a few more months however, now I’m noticing that the leaves are turning yellow and I’m not sure what is wrong with the plant. I checked the top of the soil. It is damp. I also checked the bottom of the soil it is damp so here’s some picture. I have not noticed any insects on the plant either If any anyone can provide advice or help, that would be great I love north east facing house so this plant is in the front yard in a pot and I do get about 4 to 5 hours of good sunlight during the day

The second wave of mealybugs appeared after the first attempt to eradicate the infestation two weeks ago on my Hoya Krimson Queen. They brought spider mite friends this week. I used Dawn spray foam dishwashing detergent because it is sticky and acts like a car wash completely covering all areas including the crevices where spider mites like to nest. The teaching moment is some insects may live and continue to spread especially if their eggs hatch after the first insecticidal treatment. You have to regularly inspect your plants.

Does anyone know what these brown spots are? A few of the leaves turned all brown like this & fell off! 😭

SOS!! lol. My Thai Con has browning spots . For context, they are not crispy but not soft . Almost banana peel-like. It’s at my boyfriend’s house and he waters it whenever it reaches around a 1.5 on the moisture meter . It’s always been very happy with this watering schedule and recently put out a beautiful new leaf as well. But this began happening over the past couple weeks and has continued to spread . It’s on the whites on the leaves . Could this be an issue with lighting? Watering? Photosynthesizing issues? Maybe just the way it’s reacting to something? Idk! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!! 🫶🏻

First time having an alocasia and I don’t know what’s wrong. The edges started getting crispy it’s in front of a grow light. And I have been watering it only when the soil feels dry. Is is possibly sunburn should I water more? Help!
