HELLLPPPOOPP okay, so basically, my pink princess has these tiny dry spots on some of its leaves (has had them since i got her). the spots aren’t in clusters or anything so i assumed that they might just be spots from experiencing stress in shipping? but i was looking at my other plants (a pitcher plant, venus flytrap, and pothos) and they also have single, tiny spots like this on some of their leaves. my pink princess is also pushing out a new leaf right now that seems to have black spots on it. my initial guess was that i gave that stem too much moisture and it led to tiny areas of rot (i was misting this stem because i was worried about the new leaf getting stuck). but now i’m getting paranoid about a fungal infection going around… my plants are in good shape right now—no dying leaves or wilting, just these tiny spots. but i’m still really nervous. should i get fungicide?

For the life of me I can not keep this baby happy! I had her part sun, outdoors, when I first got her and she curled up and dropped all her leaves. I moved her to an even shadier spot, she started to have some growth good growth but was still getting dark spots on her leaves and getting eaten, so I brought her inside (west facing window, part sun. Window has a film so no direct light) where she’s been for a month or two. She was looking like she was recovering good, had a new leaf coming up, then the other two leaves just curled up and died this past week. I have NO idea why I’m so bad with this plant 😭

Got her Sunday. She’s been fine and this morning she’s like this????!

I realized a lot of my Potted plant soil is garden soil not for potted plants. I have lightened a bunch of it with perlite, pebbles, coco coire but some plants are still not Bally, do I have to completely change kit the soil or perhaps just add more perlite to any dense looking ones?

I’m a very nervous plant parent, so I check my guys for pests all the time. Today I stumbled upon some tiny black bugs on my arrowhead plant, as well as what appeared to be larvae inside one of the new leaves? Please suggest what to do! There does not appear to be any damage from them (sun damage to the plant previously) and I’ve taken off all I can see. If more show up I’ll add photos, but for the meantime, are there any suggestions?

Infested yucca! Help please 😔 My yucca started dying a couple of months ago, and I noticed many small caterpillars on it and all around my apartment. Indeed there is a caterpillar cementery behind the yucca. Apparently they all go there to die(?) I don’t know what to do bring back to life my baby :(

Hello planta friends 👋🏼 does anyone know what’s going on with my catnip?!

Hi everyone! I’m a young plant parent and beyond watering and asking my plants to be okay please, I’m fairly useless! My aloe vera has a yellow and pungent inner sap part (i think it’s called mucilage). It’s much bigger than any aloe vera i’ve had in the past so wondering if it’s due to it being a particular variety? The mucilage is yellow and smells very unpleasant, and is stickier than my other aloes’ were. Does she have a disease or is just a different variety? Thank you x

Help! I cant figure out what’s wrong with my BOP. i had it in my room before and i thought it was because my room was too cold so i’ve had it outside for a week and the leaves still haven’t uncurled. Is it a humidity problem??

Hello everyone, I’m new to the plant world and received this beautiful split leaf philodendron the other day. With the brown leaves am I able to just remove them or is there a trick to it? I tried to do some research but I haven’t found the browning in the location that mine is instead of on the leaves itself. I also am curious if I should report it, it looks like there’s a plastic pot inside the outter one. Thanks in advance (:

Hellooo! My plant is suddenly shrivelling up and going limp and not too sure why Its done this before but I repotted it and it was fine for a few months and now it’s shrivelling up again. Also a different plant of mine currently has fungus gnats but I don’t think this one has been affected? Would appreciate any help! ☺️

I have this colocasia Calidora elephant ear that has ONE (healthy) leaf that has been slowly turning yellow since I got it and is now full blown yellow. My thoughts were overwatering or root rot, but neither is true for the plant, plus every single other leaf and stem are healthy and it sprouted a new leaf just this week. I’ve had it for maybe 3 weeks. The first pic is the day I got it (spot the yellowed leaf pre-yellow in the bottom right), second pic is about a week ago, and the 3rd pic is today. Please help I’m afraid I’m killing it some weird new way

Hi, new here🥹 I got a string of hearts about a month ago. I combined two pots to one and it seems like one side is dying on me and not sure why. The strand that is still in tact has nice thick plump leaves…help😭 **just watered today, I bottom water and it has adequate drainage.

Help why is my palm getting dried out and yellow? 😭😖 it was doing soooo good I reported it cause it was a Root bonded and cleaned the roots as well !
