What is happening to my philodendron?? No pests. Developing yellow spots on leaves. Bought at Trader Joe’s, had low expectations from the get go.

Should I cut off the brown and yellow leaf? Sadly she doesn’t have that many left.

Hi plant lovers 😁 So I have a canna lily and it’s leaves are drying out ,I just repotted it yesterday and watered it and add plant food as well . What should I do ? Any tricks or tips to help me out will be amazing please and thank you 🪴🤍

I found some white cotton-like fuzzies in the creases of my Echinopsis :( I should’ve gotten a picture, but it’s been removed and treated for what I’m hoping isn’t mealy bugs :( any additional tips?

Hello! My Ivy plants leave are really dry and the soil is really wet. She isn’t doing well. The pot has drain holes and is about 1 foot away from a window for sunlight that has shade. So not direct sunlight all the time. Looking for advice TYI:)

Morning! So I noticed this recently on my ZZ plant. I currently have her indoors not really getting sunlight. Should I put her out side? Also how many times a week would any one recommend watering? I’m so new to this I just don’t want to mess up. Thanks 🙃

I purchased plants over the weekend along with potting soil and planted them in a pot. I have done this before and every plant died. Any ideas as to why this happened and how to prevent it from happening again?

This is a spider plant that my cat keeps eating anything green on it. It’s trying to grow again any suggestions on how to keep it away from my fur babies? Hanging isn’t an option because I rent.

Hi! I got a string of pearls plant a little over a month ago and ever since I brought it home, it’s just kept dying more and more. I follow the Planta watering schedule and only barely watered it twice in the last month. I just don’t really know best practices for taking care of this plant. Any help/advice is appreciated! I may just throw this one out and get a new one and try to find better ways to take care of it. I don’t think it’s gonna come back, here’s a pic of when I got it compared to today

Is this normal? My neighbor told me I should cut this part off.

Hi everyone. I tend to overwater my plants a lot and I was just wondering what I can do to help my plants thrive again. Currently, my Swiss cheese vine, golden pothos, and calathea have yellow leaves but I want to help them out! I have tried spacing out my watering but it hasn’t seemed to help yet. Side note- When the leaves have fully gone yellow, I cut off. I am not sure if these plants are overwatered but that is what I have come to because of the yellow leaves.

I’m fairly new to the prayer plant/lemon lime maranta, and so I’m wondering if this is normal. I ordered this plant online. It came in good shape and seems to be doing well. It was growing vertically. I have it in an East facing window, facing towards the window. But it keeps growing almost backwards, and almost horizontally, like leaning backwards almost. Is this bad or should I do something for it? Turn it around so it’s facing away from the sun? Get it a moss pole? Or just stop worrying about it? It seems to be doing fine and pushing out new growth, so I’m not too concerned, but just wanted to make sure I’m not doing anything wrong.

Is my Echeveria Subsessilis sick? I’ve had it for a while and I’m conscious of not watering if the soil feels moist, it was growing and looking really good and all of a sudden it started loosing leaves and it has some goo in the middle.

Anyone had a Calathea plant? This is my first. The edges of the leaves have been curling like this for a few weeks. Someone suggested it could be the hard water in our area, so I have switched to distilled. Any other thoughts?

does anyone know why my string of hearts is growing aggressively away from the sun like this? it’s in a south facing window, but since it’s hanging, it’s getting bright indirect sunlight for maybe 8 hours a day. should i move it?

My Leopard Lily and Pothos’ leaves have been yellowing over the past few weeks, and I’m not sure how to address the issue. They previously didn’t get much light, so I used a grow light for a few hours most days. The light has been increasing with the summer, so I stopped using it to try and balance it out - any thoughts on how to support my plants?

Any idea why my jaboticaba has brown tips on all the leaves? Do I need to move it to a less sunny place? I don’t think it’s underwater oh?
