I keep watering, but he still looks terrible. Should I move to a smaller pot. When I got him he was in a humidity dome. Should I move him back to something like that?

Guys what did I do wrong! This poor plant was given to me by a friend, she couldn’t keep her healthy. She came to me with 4 leaves mostly brown, I chopped all of those off. She then pumped out a perfect new leaf. Then this next leaf has brown and yellow spots… what did I do? I bottom water her when the top half is dry, only a few fruit flys pest wise. Thanks 😊

My best friend gave me a plant yesterday and after looking over it carefully in the daytime I see one slug and one snail coming out of the bottom of the pot. How concerned should I be and how do I eradicate them? I’m trying to let it acclimate to my place before repotting it so if there’s any advice on controlling them without repotting that would be ideal. Also as I took the picture of the snail I saw a tiny white insect crawling around (slightly above and to the right of the snail). Does anyone know what it is and how to get this plant in better shape? I included a picture of the whole plant as well to show that it appears healthy despite these critters (at least for the moment).

Hi, this peace lily needed to be repotted in the summer so I did. Ever since then it’s been droopy and the leaves have been looking like they’re rotting so I keep cutting them off. I thought it was in shock and just needed time to recover. But it never did. Eventually I noticed the soil didn’t drain well enough because it would remain moist for a long time. So I finally got extra perlite to mix in. However, the same thing keeps happening. And I checked all the roots thoroughly, all of them looked extremely healthy. I’m so confused. Can anyone help?

I just cut off these leaves from my chinese money plant to avoid any more damage and energy draining from the mother plant, is this just neem oil burn or should i be more concerned? Most leaves are fine tho.

I bought this snow bush back in Sept (on the left in 2nd pic) and it has grown significantly but now it’s so droopy and the stems are SO thin, I don’t know why! I never let her completely dry out. Not sure if a snow bush is supposed to go through winter dormancy? Pls help!

Hi there again! (Awkwardly shy) 🙈 👋🏾 I live in Texas and we recently experienced a freeze! I woke up one day and this beauty started looking like this. It looks like it’s trying to come back and I held off on watering because I thought that maybe I overwatered it. Due to the freeze, the humidity in my home has decreased dramatically so I’m thinking maybe that’s it. Can someone help please? Should I get a humidifier 😩 I don’t want to lose this baby. Thanks in advance ❤️

Hi again! lol 👋🏾 I live in Texas and we recently experienced a freeze. This baby started out as a cutting and has done very well since. However, after the freeze the leaves near the soil and dropping and the leaves on the vine are starting to curl. I decreased it water intake and have been using my grow lamp and one leaf lifted up a little, so I’m just thinking that maybe it’s finally time for the leaves at the top to drop so they can grow like my other vine. Please let me know what I can do to help this baby. Also, should I get a humidifier? Thanks in advance ❤️🧚🏾‍♀️

My philodendron Tortum when yellow once I got it home. It’s next to tons of other tropical plants to help with humidity and I have a humidifier. The location is east facing so light should be good. It’s indirect. Any advice?

I got it end of last year and I had to leave it for 1 months without watering. It was very dry when I came back so I repotted it. It’s been a week but whole plant still feels dry and crusty. Does it still have a chance? Or should I give up on it? How should I take care of it? Thank you

Are the roots on this pothos cutting viable? They are firm/not squishy, but the brownish color is concerning me. This is after rinsing and rubbing the soil off

My ponytail palm has been gradually dying all winter. Its ends are completely crispy even after watering it. Now the top of the soil is dry but the bottom is soaking wet. Should I pull the leaves off or cut them? What do I do?

My ponytail palms leave turned dry and yellow with black patches. I pulled all her leaves out (idk why) hoping she would regrow.. Can I still save her. Is she dead?
