Guys my raindrop peperomia has thrips 😖 plz help! I’m somewhat newer to being a plant mom and I’ve never delt with any pests. From what I read online, I need to thoroughly wash the whole plant and spray with insecticide once a week and also a systemic insecticide?? I’m afraid of over-doing the chemicals. Can you guys please provide me with some tips and maybe some brands of insecticides that you’ve had good experience with? I’d really appreciate it!

Hi Community, One of leaves of my monstera was tucked behind a poster on the adjacent wall. Once I saw this I pulled the leaf away to discover that the portion of the leaf that was tucked away had completely turned black. Is the solution to this issue as simple as allowing the damaged portion of the leaf to see light again? Is it permanent? Thank you in advance for any advice/feedback from the community.

PLEASE HELP. I bought this spider plant and I knew it needed repotted but what I didn’t know is that these roots are OUT OF CONTROL and there is a grow pot stuck inside! Does anybody have any advice? Should I try to get the grow pot out or leave it??

Is this plant dying?

The lower leaves on my western columbine (Aquilegia formosa) have been yellowing, withering, and browning pretty consistently since I got it. I’ve just been plucking the ones that look super bad and watering normally for the species but it actually seems to be getting worse so I think something is wrong? At first I thought maybe sunburn or something but the only leaves that are affected are the lower ones so I’m starting to suspect something fungal or bacterial? The rest of the plant actually seems super healthy so idk what’s going on.

My variegated string of pearls is wrinkling, browning, and generally doesn’t look good. It came with one or two pearls looking pretty flat and wrinkly and with super dry soil so I watered it but the problem is getting worse. Have I overwatered it or is this something else? It doesn’t seem to have any bug pests so maybe something fungal or bacterial?

My baby sunrise is having a hard time I went on the trip then his water days kinda messed up I was watered yesterday and still leaves are Turing brown and soft little mushy it want grow more flowers but it not like are now brown brittle it gets direct sun or purple grow light/regular grow light

My snake plant needs help! Planta said it would do well in a low light room but also said it needs more light in a part shade room. Any suggestions? This poor baby feels doomed and for some reason I haven’t been able to grow snake plants. They are supposed to be easy!

Hey y’all! My amagris prayer plant is one of many plants under a bigger plant that is constantly dropping water off of its leaves. This didn’t bother me until I noticed that a spot where water was hitting my amagris plant is “stained” from it! It’s so weird. I knew it was a spot where water was landing, so I moved the plant so that the leaf could “dry” but there’s still a mark a day or two later! Do any of y’all have experience with this? It’s happened on two of my leaves (although I know water has gotten on more than two of them with no spots like these). Thanks for your help!!

I managed to root a mid-stem Cutting from my Hoya Mauna Loa but it will not produce a growth point. It’s been since February and still no growth. Any tips on how to activate growth on this little thing?

My philodendron fuzzy petiole has been getting these spots on its leaves and then yellowing. I assume it’s some kind of pest or fungus, but I have no idea what it is, or what I should do about it. Does anyone have any tips?

I just got this Pepperomia Hope and when it came it had a few leaves like this with the white stuff. Anyone know what it is and how I should treat it?

Hi everyone, i need help with this plant. I was gifted it by my grandma but she nearly killed it. when i got it the pot was FULL of water. so i dumped it, and repotted it into new fresh soil with liquid fertilizer. and put under grow light. do i need to do anything else? it looks so sad :(
