š!! I bought a gardenia bonsai online and she arrived about a week ago. She initially had a lot of buds, but they start to wilt and soon as they open and look like this (see photo) within a day of opening. She also had a few yellow leaves and I donāt think there are any more now than there were a week ago. I know gardenias are sensitive, so maybe she just needs some time to recover from the shipping and to get used to the new environment? I have her in indirect sunlight in a room that gets a ton of light. But whatās worrying me is that when I tried to use a moisture meter by her roots, I couldnāt even push it in there. The akadama around her is very loose and the water runs off immediately, but Iām concerned nothingās actually making it to her roots. Under different circumstances, Iād take a look at her roots and repot her if needed. But since sheās so delicate, Iām concerned Iāll just do more damage. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks ahead of time! šš¼

Hi all! So I've had this plant for a little while now and it's been doing really well for a good long while. Today though I checked on it to find damage all over two leaves. They're some of the newest leaves on the plant and the only change is that I put it in a different room for a couple of days...any idea what could have happened and what I should do? Thanks

Hi! Iām new to the group and app. I have this devilās ivy I believe, and it was lush and green 2 weeks ago, now the vines and leaves are browining and falling off. Iām lost! How do I fix it? Iāve been watering minimally, keeping it in the window for light, I believe some of the vines could have been damaged in transporting the plant, is there anything I can do to save my baby?

I have a begonia Julau that has some leaf browning. After looking at possible causes, I think I overwatered it. I was leaving for a week and didnāt want it to dry out too much so I watered a little early. Itās in a high humidity environment too and is under a grow light that is 1.5-2 feet above it. Do yāall think I have diagnosed it properly? I noticed this morning that the newest leaf has a small brown tip too :/

I repotted my elephant ear (mixed alocasia) almost a week ago and 2 out of the 4 leaves are starting to turn yellow. Iām using regular potting mix with added perlite for drainage and aeration. Does anyone know why itās looking sad? š

So Iāve had this plant for a while now, and Iāve always thought that it was a Moth Orchid, please correct me if Iām wrong š
I was watering a bit today and I saw the yellow leaf. I know that itās normal for longer living orchids to have yellowing leaves. Should I pluck it off so there can be new growth?
Also, should I repot this? š«¶š»

Pinched this Dwarf Cavendish as a baby plant growing from my mums main cavendish plant. Repotted it into this terracotta pot last week but the leaves are starting to droop and turn brown. Been sticking with the Planta schedule. Am I missing something?
In context, had one last year that grew healthily and suddenly dropped away and died over the winter so just making sure this new one survives!

Hydrangeas from Whole Foods, got them a month ago, they were a GORGEOUS purpulish blue. The plant feels and looks healthy, besides this weird color itās
turning into (greenish greyish color)
What does this mean? What can I do to revive the color back to a beautiful blue?
Thank you in advance !

Hey everybody! I have tons of plants and decided to challenge myself with a common ivy - Sarah. I bought her 3 weeks ago at Ace Hardware and she was gorgeous! Now lately my leaves are wilted, some crispies, and over time taking more and more leaves off. Now she looks bare! My guess I think itās been overwatered too fast as I also had Planta do the scheduling for me and maybe too much sun? I live in a basement complex and I had her hanging until now. Can someone give me advice on this type of plant please! Thank you!

Hello all,
Last month I purchased predatory mites from Natures Good Guys and I seem to have many, many more spider mites all over my collection now than I did before. Do any of you use predatory mites ? And where do you buy them if so? Iāve been trying to clean up the infestation with alcohol and neem oil. Any tips would be appreciated.
