I have been dealing with aphids on my indoor flowering plants, I’ve tried showering them and using different sprays without success. Curious if anyone has successfully used live ladybugs for aphid control?

Hi all, I have fungus gnats. I’ve been using mosquito bit tea to get rid of them and it is slowly working. But I have a few questions about it. Can I add my liquid fertilizer to my tea? I use Superthrive. My plants haven’t been “fed” in a month. Also, is it safe to touch the bits or even the dunks with my hands? I threw in a pic of some of my plants just cause.

My baby is sick and I don’t know what else to do. I repotted it three weeks ago because the edges of some leaves were getting dry and leaves were drooping. I put it then in a terracotta pot with drainage. I still see more leaves drying up so I tried bottom watering but with the terracotta it was spewing soil from the 1in diameter hole in the bottom of the pot. I watered from the top some too. Then left it til the soil was dry. Today, I noticed these brown spots on the leaves. I repotted to a plastic clear pot with drainage to see the roots and continued to bottom water. What do you suggest I do from here? It’s got three new furling leaves at least but I don’t want to further damage the foliage. Help please. Thanks in advance

Heya Plant people! My Polka Dot plant is having issues as the leaves are curling inward, the leaves feel off, fuzz along the base and browning of some kind. Any advice on how I can help Spot grow normally/become healthy?

Hey earthlings!! My golden pothos is looking very limp.. just gave him a thorough watering(soil was quite dry) and so I’m hoping he perks up soon! I don’t know if it’s a common pothos thing but he also has some browness on his stems.. any ideas what that is? Thanks in advance!!

What’s happening to my spider plants? They’re both growing at a fast rate (my baby is no longer a baby anymore! He’s catching up to his sister in size!) but they both have just a couple leaves with these brown markings? As well as brown tips? I don’t think it’s anything to do with watering as I’ve been keeping good track of it, the only thing I can think of is sunburn? As they’re both in a south facing window with direct sunlight and this has only happened over the last day or so (when we’ve had a bit more sunshine) so I’m thinking it’s that? Should I just move them to a less direct place and see if that helps? Any advice welcome:)

In a beginner with taking care of flowers and plants and these are my hyacinth I’ve been trying to keep alive. I’ve been watering them every other day but they still dying; does anyone know what I can do 😅

Hi all, I think my croton on fire is sick. It has all these black spots on the leaves and when I rub the leaves they come off. Can anyone tell me what it is and how to treat it?

My prayer plant looks good, however each time I go to water it the soil reads, “wet” on the moisture meter. What should I do? Just put it on snooze? I feel like it’s wet every time. There is no water coming out from drainage hole so it’s not like it’s sitting in water. Thanks for any advice! :)

hi! recently repotted this plant and now her leaves are starting to go all brown and die- am I overwatering or under watering? she used to thrive but ever since repotting she’s started to die.

Also, might anyone know why my aloe vera has been acting funky like this? It seems to be flattening and not reaching upward as much anymore. I believe i have been watering it correctly allowing the water to completely drain out bottom and not stand in it. I am using a plastic pot for about a year now (terracotta may be better long term). I also am having an issue where the middle leaves tend to flip back and forth and some leaves getting flat at the ends. Between watering i have allowed the soil to dry out completely and am using the miracle gro succulent mix. Any advice greatly appreciated thank you!

Hi! Does anyone have any good recommendations for fighting off fungus gnats? I’ve started using mosquito bits (sprinkling in surface and mixing in soil some and the watering as well as systemic) about a week ago but still seeing gnats. I don’t know exactly how long it should be before i start to notice a difference. NOTE: This basil is dealing with the gnats along with other plants.

My money plant’s leaves are turning brown and falling off. What’s could be wrong with it? I only water when soil is pretty much dry and it only gets bright indirect light
