This leaf on my PPP propagation turned bright yellow😭. Theres no smell and the rest of the plant looks fine, but how can i keep it from spreading to the other leaf? i think i can start to see tiny roots coming in so seems healthy. should i cut the yellow one off? does anyone know why this happened?

Mind if I ask what’s on the bottom of it? Is that something to protect the cutting on the bottom or just some gunk from sitting in the water? I’m curious!

that’s ok! i saw in a youtube video that putting candle wax on the bottom of your cuttings keeps them from rotting.

How often are you changing the water. To Tyler’s point above the grayish gook on the bottom looks like an issue. I would cut the dead one off near the base. I’m not a propagation person - apparently I just like to give my money away 😬 - but the gray stuff doesn’t look good

so that is candle wax that i put on the bottom of the cuttings, i saw online that it keeps the cutting from rotting in the water. could it just be discolored from the water and/or rooting hormone ?
