i recently discovered thrips on my monsters and found a single adult on my ginseng. are these the beginning signs of more thrips emerging? i’ve already rinsed all my plants, inspected, and found zero thrips. waiting for the next batch to hatch on my monstera and all the plants are separated. no babies were found on the ginseng, just an adult. if it’s not thrips, what is it and should i be concerned. i’m considering just snipping all those leaves off in case there’s eggs embedded in the leaves.

I’ve never had thrips yet that I know of, so I can’t help you but I wanted to follow to see what others said. Sometimes I get weird spots on certain plants and can’t figure out what’s up so I’m just trying to learn as much as I can

you definitely notice once you start to get thrips. you get little white worms on your leaves. this is what mine looked like.
