Well I ordered plants from Amazon and they didn’t arrive too hot. All calatheas. I plan on repotting today. Should I just cut the dried ones leaves off and hope it grows new ones? The other one wilted over night pretty bad

How cold is it in your area? My ado said that I got on fb marketplace did this because it was porch pick up (in known to me) in v cold temps, and not covered to be outside as long as it was.
0 LikesIt’s pretty cold I’m in Ohio. I got them inside right away so they didn’t sit, but I’m sure they got cold while in the Amazon truck or van. I’m hoping the roots are still healthy and they bounce back
0 LikesGood luck! With mine, I pruned the worst leaves but left some of the healthier leaves. I didn’t water it, and put a grow light on it. This is my experiment because I’ve never had this happen until this year.

I don’t know if you should repot. They are probably really shocked and should be give a couple of days to acclimate to their new environment before repotting
2 LikesThey came in paper cups with no drainage holes and soil pretty dry. Should I maybe just poke holes in the bottom of the cups and water?
1 LikeI misted the plant and soil

Are they super dry? Yea I would poke holes.
0 LikesPretty dry definitely in need of water. I’ll do that and wait to pot then. Thank you!
0 LikesHold off watering till it acclimated more to your house but do cut off anything bad. And i use a self watering pot and bottled water and a humidifier for mine. They are beautiful plants but they are drama queens.
