Am I trippin’ or is it thrips? I brought my camelias indoors yesterday to save from frost. I isolated it, Neem oil - the works. This morning this dot showed up on my monstera 20 feet away. I woke up middle of the night to check if any critters came out on the camelias just in case and there was one slender bug slowly climbing my camelia. It met a swift end 🪦 and I sprayed another round of Neem oil. I checked all other plants in the vacinity. Parsley, Wisteria were doing fine. Monstera was doing fine no white dots at that time and now 8 hours later this ⚪️ popped up and has me concerned. Is it too symmetrical to be thrips? Or maybe this one is aesthetic? When should I spray Neem oil again? Any other recs?

I would see if it wipes off with diluted vinegar or hydrogen peroxide . I don’t think it looks like thrip damage, but I definitely could be wrong.

It remained on, but this was a great idea I’ll try in the future as a test!

Thats not thrips damage. Thrips will show us as silvery patches on the underside of the leaf with yellowing on the top.

Update: I found what I think was a brown leaf hopper on my curtain. It jumped and then so did I. Are they capable of this? Outdoors I have noticed ocasional webs floating about or a white tuft floating on occasion.
