Howdy Plant Peeps! I’m in need of some advice. This Echeveria succulent has gotten out of hand. It’s grown so tall it can’t support itself and has what looks like roots sprouting all over the place. I’m curious what others would do with it? Should I repot it? Trim the hairy root things? Any other ideas of how to help this little buddie would be greatly appreciated.

It’s etiolated, meaning it’s not getting enough light so it’s reaching for it. I would trim it down to the base, and remove the dead leaves on the side as well. Find a spot where it can get 6+ hours of direct sun daily. Or use a grow light If you want, you could keep the top bit and propagate it

Omg thank you! I now have a little action plan and I’ve learned a new word! My little plant thanks you as well, it shouldn’t have to work so hard to get some sun. :)
