I bought this polkadot begonia about 3 weeks ago and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong her leaves are crispy and and keep chipping off, I haven’t repotted her I thought maybe she was getting too much sun and getting sun burnt so I took her away from the window, she’s not under watered. I’m not sure how to make her happy. Any tips? or have similar experiences?

are those pieces of leaves coming off or are they just little leaves from the bottom? if they’re just the little leaves your plant might just be adjusting to the new space :) the rest of the plant looks pretty happy so i wouldn’t worry too much at this point. it was a good idea to bring it back from getting too much sun. they also like a lot of humidity if you can provide that!

It’s some parts of leaves the pit get crispy and fall off, I’ll try and provide it more humidity! Thanks!

the humidity should help! begonias love it. but i’m wondering, do you have pets? any time chunks of leaves go missing or get ripped off my plants it’s because of my cat 😒 lol

Could be insufficient light/toxicity to the minerals in tap water or overwatering/underwatering. If you just got the plant this could also just be some transition stress
