hii friends! i have a snapdragon i just transplanted last Friday right after it started blooming for the first time (bad idea), she’s been a lil weepy the past few days, wilting and dropping blooms — is there anything i can do other than leave her alone and continue to water well? fresh soil and she’s been inside in my sunniest window to keep her out of the heat when necessary

Give it a little time to bounce back. Repotting is stressful to the plant that could take weeks to recover.

What was the width of the previous pot? The new pot should be only 1 inch or 2 inches wider. Too much soil holding excess water that the plant can’t use will leave the roots sitting too long in water. This can cause root rot and exhibit the droopy leaves and stem.

that is super helpful.. it started in a little pod based “smart garden” thing (i kinda hate it tbh), the pods are maybe 2.5” diameter and the new pot is 6” + much deeper. plenty of drainage and i only watered once after repotting though

I would reduce the pot size and repot in a 4 inch pot. It will cause a little stress. But, doing nothing can be detrimental. Remove the plants. Let the root ball dry out a couple of hours. Then, repot in the smaller pot. Add perlite, sand or other aggregate to increase drainage. Water after the soil dries. Snapdragons like full sun. Gradually move the plant into full sun. More sunlight will help dry out the soil. Good luck🍀🪴

I agree with Chrissy. Repotting again will further stress the plant. Sometimes if we love them just a little less, they do a whole lot better.

Yes. Sometimes it best to leave them be. 😎
