Fruit flies or fungus gnats? I know they can look the same.

Sticky traps! The smaller kind you can just stick into soil are great. It’s kind of gross/fun to see how many you catch that way lol. I have kept to bottom watering my plants so the topsoil isn’t wet and I sprinkle a bit of cinnamon on top of the soil of any plants they’re attracted to just to make it harder for them to land on the soil and lay eggs. The cinnamons just a bonus thing I like to do I cannot say for certain that it does much! However it is also a good natural fungicide which is cool. These are what have worked for me 😁 I’ve only got a few gnats flying about usually now which I don’t mind. I have heard folks on here like to use mosquito bits for this as well. Hopefully someone who has experience using the bits will share their knowledge!

My local grocery store has it for $1.49 a gallon. At Walmart, I found it with the baby supplies. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I also swear by these. They are amazing. This particular one was put up in mid winter. Time to change it out!

A combination of Neem oil sprayed on the soil, diatomaceous earth sprinkled on the soil (also adds silica) and a dynatrap bug light.
