Help please! Newish plant mom! My Alocasia Amazonica (Polly) was fine one day and then looked like this the next day. It hasn’t grown anything new since I got it on July 3rd. I’ve been fertilizing and watering it based off the app. I’m so lost 😭
Have you checked for root rot?

agree with emmy, check for root rot. alocasias are very prone to it and this pot looks a little too big

New environment and sometimes they don’t like it. They will go into dormancy when not happy. It’s happened to mine twice. If it ends up loosing all the leaves, put it to the side, give it a little water now and then. Hopefully in a few months it will decide things are ok and start growing again. You should probably research on YouTube how to treat them when in dormancy. I never did and may not have been doing in correctly. But it did revive.

Possibly overwatering/root rot. You could take plant out of soil, trim back dead leaves/roots, and grow it water for a few weeks. Change water weekly and transfer plant to chunky soil when enough roots are established. PS you can check the existing soil for corms (baby Alocasia)

It’s looks like it’s gone in to shock. Maybe cause of the weather. I had one that went in to shock during the cold spell we had

I’m having a similar issue with a new one I just got. Keep us posted on how it goes. I was thinking that it’s pot is took small but these comments are making me think a big pot might not help. Patience!
