Hey there so I’ve just noticed quite a few of these white looking bugs on my bonsai and I’m wondering what they are and how to get rid of them, they seem to be on most of the new shoots just chilling on them

From what I can tell on the picture it appears to be mealy bugs. A q-tip dipped in isopropyl alcohol will kill the visible adults under the leaves. You will need to spray with Neem oil for several weeks to completely eliminate the eggs in the soil. Be careful they can travel to other plants and I think the adult males can fly. I’ve had them before with persistence you should be able to get rid of them. Good Luck!!
