the bottom leaf keeps yellowing as each top leaf grows in. I’ve heard this is a normal cycle, is that true? or is this something I can help

    It very often is true. The bottom older leaves yellow and die allowing the plant to put its energy into new growth.

    It is true. If your plant isn't getting root bound and no pests, it's probably the reason

    My pink princess was doing this until I set it up a proper moss pole, now new leaves grow and the old ones can hang on
