I cannot figure out what’s wrong with my Hoya. I got it about 7-8 months ago. The pink princess I got with it is very happy and thriving and this guy was in the same light on the same watering/fertilizing schedule but has had zero growth that I can see.

I’m assuming it’s a Hoya Nummularioides. Its looks dry based on the wrinkled leaves, dry aerial roots and dry new growth. My pic shows the same variety with smoother leaves, greener new growth and green plump aerial leaves. I water every 2 days because it’s in a 2” tiny pot. The pot may be too large for the root system. Check the depth of the roots and the condition. Downsize if the roots are not touching all of the inner walls and bottom of the pot. Water when it’s dry and not by a schedule. Fertilize at least once a month. Lighting: My six cuttings and plants of this variety are in full morning sunlight and afternoon bright shade. The clay pot sucks water from the soil. You have to water both the pot and the soil unless you are growing cacti or succulents.
