Is this scales on my Camellia plant!? I just got it two days ago and I didn’t notice it till today (i’m newer to gardening)? If it is scales what should I do, will it kill the plant or do I just leave it and they will go away eventually?
i think you're right.. 😬 this is definitely not a 'just leave it alone' situation, scale will absolutely kill your plant. scale is bugs, so a good routine wipe down with diluted rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide will be good. you can also supplement by physically removing the bugs you see. diluted neem oil is most successful from what i've observed. good luck 🫡
