Hi Everyone! Beginner plant parent here. I need help diagnosing what’s wrong with my tea rose. Yellowing/spotted leaves with holes…any suggestions? Is something eating the leaves? Thank you!

I cannot diagnose for sure, but sometimes I use Google lens to diagnose my plants. If you have small holes, most of the time it’s some type of aphid or other little bugs. Is it outside? You can find some neem oil to spray it with if you want to look that up. I’ve found it helps, but it’s not a forever fix. If it was inside I would say to buy some sticky tabs to stick around the pot, but this looks like it’s outside. So, someone else might have much better info, but neem oil and maybe checking the bottom of the leaves to see if you see any little eggs or anything (from the bugs), you can try to gently knock those off. I’m relatively new as well, but the premium of this app helps diagnose, too! You can get a free trial for a week!
1 j'aimeSo does the yellow “P” on our pictures not mean that we have premium? I just assumed it did. 😅 If not, what does it mean?🤔

i’m no flower enthusiast but this is beautiful that you caught the pic with the bee inside! 😍
1 j'aimeI came here to say the same thing!!! 🐝 🌺
1 j'aimeThanks!! It was just lucky that he was there while I was adding the plant to the app 😁
0 J'aimeDid you try Dr. Planta?
0 J'aimeThanks for the suggestions yall! I am still figuring out this app, I’ll check out the diagnosing features and also look into the neem oil! Also, I looked under the leaves and there are a bunch of little worm/caterpillars looking things. They are SO tiny but they are eating all the leaves!!
0 J'aimeThose are probably mealybugs. I HATE THEM. They kill everything once it’s infested. You have to stay on top of them. If the plant is in a pot, you might want to repot it. If it isn’t, you can try neem oil, or you can get a Q-tip and douse it with isopropyl alcohol and rub it along the spines of the leaves. It repels the bugs and is effective, it just takes a long time. Those bugs for real are my arch nemesis though.
