my jade plant has become limp. i’ve tried giving it less water. It is recovering from mealy bugs. any helpful tips?

    I would try giving it more water, it looks dehydrated. I would bottom water it for about 5 minutes or until the pot stops floating. In my experience limp succulents are dehydrated, squishy ones are over watered.

    The thin wrinkly leaves show dehydration. The leaves should be plump and smooth. Water more often. Check the roots. It may need a repot.

    Hey so I'm not trying to overexplain if you already know this, but overwatering isn't necessarily about how much water you give a plant, but rather, how often. Apologies if this isnt very important info and/or already understood. I second bottom watering it's helpful with all plants that need less of a water intake. I do it for all my succs, cacti, tubers/caudex and alike.
