This is my first go at gardening, so I’m not very knowledgeable in this. I planted these a couple weeks ago along with other vegetables. I noticed this damage on these two and was curious if anyone had any idea what this is from and if you have a solution for the problem. Thank you for your help

Hi there, I would be checking for pests. If they’re not on top, have a look at the underside of the leaves. If there aren’t many, I would normally remove and squish by hand. For veggies I like to place a cloche over seedlings especially from evening to night. If you have a snail/slug situation, a copper netting placed on the ground around the stem can work great. You could also try companion plants if you work out what’s nibbling the peas. For example planting decoy plants that will attract the bugs instead and potential plants to ward off the bugs (though I personally haven’t seen huge amounts of success with that second strategy).

Thank you so much. I will definitely look for pests and invest in some protection
