Hello guys! I hope someone can help me. I have had this anthurium since Jan, but it looks like this now. I don't how to fix it. I adjusted my watering method (every 3 weeks) and I changed the soil last week. I've been using Arber products since Feb, but I'm not sure if they worked.

I think this is a bacterial blight or possibly another type of bacterial infection. Unfortunately, my personal fix to the problem would be to throw the plant away. If you're in it for the Long haul, and by that I mean it's going to take a while for this to look good, you should remove any infected leaves all the way to the base and give it optimal living conditions. A bactericide is also recommended. Make sure you clean the tools when you're finished. You mentioned that you repotted. What type of soil did you use? A recommended blend is 50/50 mix of orchid soil and all-purpose soil. It needs a well draining mix. When you water do you remove it from the cover pot or drain the cover when you're finished? It should not sit in excess water. It likes higher humidity. It should be fertilized weekly during the growing season. It prefers warmer temperatures nothing below 60°. Watering every 3 weeks might be not quite enough. They do like to dry out a little between waterings but as the weather warms 3 weeks is not often enough. Hope that helps.

Thank you for your advice! I don't to throw the plant away haha I'll try my best to save her. I've been trying the bactericide and fungicide from Arber, but I'm not sure if they are working on my plants. What I did a few minutes ago was remove every branch with the problem, clean the rest with alcohol in cotton pads, and put cinnamon in the affected areas. To be honest, in new to this thing and I don't know much about soil, but I'm this one and I touched the pot and it is still humid

Yes, cutting off the leaves would be very necessary. The spots would never go away so he might as well get rid of the ugly. I've heard cinnamon is a great antibacterial so maybe that will solve your problem.

Are you spraying and doing a soil drench with Arber? Both will help. It won’t fix the damage that’s there but should help with future issues.
