    I’m thinking maybe humidity, but also is it by an air vent?

      Nope, you do not want it near an air vent. With the limited info provided, my suggestion would be try and increase the humidity. These plants like anywhere between 60-90% humidity in the room. You should not mist this plant. Misting can lead to leaf spot and damage. If you are misting, this could be the problem.
