Anyone know why my spider plant is turning a pale green? Its propagations are doing it too even though they have different lighting conditions.

IT NEEDS MORE WATER! I had the same problem with mine and I just gave it a little bit more water and in like 20 minutes it went back to its original, beautiful green color!

It’s very interesting how the props and the mother plant are both doing it at the same time ? I think I may need to repot her soon.

Hm that’s interesting! Because I had the same problem with mine and she’s better now that a gave her some extra water.

HayleyAre the props also in a soil mix? If so, Rory's probably right on with them needing more water. My grandma and I have spider plants that are on the same water schedule. Hers is a propagation from mine and it was on a different watering schedule here, but once it went to her place, boom. Same watering schedule as the parent.

They are yes, they have been going good roots so I transferred them. Thanks for the advice

ABagelI would check the roots. I had a plant going pale and I checked its roots, root rot! I cleaned off the debris and water propagated it and gave it to a neighbor after it got healthy again.
