Has anyone successfully kept anthuriums? How do you do it? This is a picture I pulled from my planta graveyard so there’s no saving it but I’d like to prevent another from joining it in the great greenhouse in the sky if I get brave enough to try again.
Those ones at the store that are sole with the existing inflorescences usually came straight from the greenhouse where they’re loaded with hormones and fertilizers to make them look beautiful and healthy, then when you buy them all those nice things start to diminish while it’s trying to acclimate, and boom. Plant declines quickly because it’s too much stress to handle. My recommendation would be to keep it humid, well hydrated but not in some soggy nasty soil, and give it a ton of light until it acclimates.

0 LikesI’ve had one for about two years now. It looked like your photo when I first got it, then it kinda went downhill (flowers dried up, leaves were looking sparse) but I just kept it watered and fertilized like the app said and it’s looking great again!
