My basil keeps getting white flies and white eggs. Do I need to worry about them? I want to still be able to eat it so not sure if I can spray anything on it. It seems to be growing fine. I usually just brush them away when I see them and take off any leaves with eggs. Any ideas how to get rid of should I just leave them?

Maybe an whitefly or thrips infestation unfortunately. You need to immediately treat this with insecticidal soap and neem oil. There are many online tutorials. Then once cleaned, quarantine it inside away from your other plants, since mites and white flies can fly. Keep observing until you feel confident 100% there are no more bugs. Please check your other plants in case they are infested too.

I think there are blue sticky traps that white flies are attracted to. You can put them in your pot and hopefully catch the flying adults.
