This post is part of my other post that I couldn’t take as many pictures as I’d like so I made another post. My Monstera that I overwatered two weeks ago is very leggy probably because of where she’s put in the winter time as I live in Saskatchewan Canada, we’re doing renovations and so I have to put her in a different part of the house during the winter where she gets some sun, but not as much as she would like. I’ve seen videos where they chop it down and start again ? I’m not sure if I should do that or even how or just leave it alone but here’s a picture and maybe someone can help me, give me advice because I’m in need of all the help I can get. It might not be the right time to do this since summer’s half over as well. What do you guys think? Unless maybe it’s supposed to be like that and I’m just overthinking. But the bottom part of the biggest stem that holds the biggest leaf is thinner closer to the potting soil then it is up where the leaves are. I usually have it taped with planters tape to the pole. I just untaped it to show you.

    Exactly what my monstera looked like. I chopped it all up for propagation, put the props in water on my porch where they grew a bunch of roots, then I planted in soil.

      Your Monstera looks awesome now !! Where did you chop the stems ?

      Ok I did it !! Did you trim the aerial roots before placing in water?

      I didn’t trim the aerial roots, because I’m a beginner and didn’t know if I should. It didn’t seem to matter.
