Hi everyone! I just joined this group and I love it already. So I had a Columbine covered in these black specks. I thought it was dirt and realized fast it wasn't.. I'm familiar with green aphids but these specks are on multiple plants. I have a few companion plants that seemed to have put them at bay. Marigolds mostly. Hydrogen peroxide mixture for spray. I hosed them down. They're all in pots so I'm able to try to quarantine them. Should I repot? Btw. Here's my beautiful yellow Columbine. I threw it away before my other plants got destroyed. Broke my heart. I've literally never thrown a plant away. This is an earlier picture before my flowers got hit bad.. I think I transferred it to most of my plants by dead heading. Maybe the greenhouse I got it from may have already had them? I can add pictures of my other plants if that'll help too. I have 3 other Columbines, Passion flower, Petunias, Popcorn plant, Stargazer lilies just coming up. I cut all the leaves off. I haven't tried Neem oil yet. So I'm guessing either Black Aphids or Leaf miners from the plant diagnosis app. Help please!!!

I spray my plants with garden safe. I wouldn’t use neem oil on plants that get sun, you can burn leaves. Hose off the plants and spray them.

Thank you!! All my plants are in hot sun. I have 2 dogs and lots of birds in my yard too. I'll look into the Garden Safe 🥰
