Hello. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of fruit flies around my pothos? Not sure if they are causing any damage as of yet but they are very annoying

Those are probably fungus gnats! They're basicaly harmless to your plant (unless you have a SEVERE infestation, then the larvae might do some root damage). If you put "fungus gnats" in the search bar you'll find lots and lots of posts and recommendations for treatment :)

I used Garden Safe Diatomaceous Earth from amazon, sprinkled a little on the top layer of soil and the flies were gone within days!!! And my plant is thriving!

This stuff has been great. You can make a tea or sprinkle the bits in your saucer - or in the soil. I noticed a significant drop in "fruit flies."
