Help! This is an Alocasia Zebrina, I’ve had her for about a year now and all of her leaves are turning yellow all of the sudden. I haven’t changed the watering or light schedule. I live in MI and she’s been inside the entire time I’ve had her. I have never repotted her because the roots r still so tiny. Any ideas?? Is this what a natural dormancy looks like? Here are the before and after pictures (left before, right is now).

Maybe a natural dormancy? I’m not sure, I wouldn’t expect all the leaves to die off but I could be wrong!

My first guess with Alocasias is ALWAYS spider mights. I have a post with advice in the main thread for how to help. But usually if they randomly steer trying to croak like this when they have a stable environment the culprit is usually spider mites

I don’t believe it’s spider mites, I’ve never had or seen mites before on any of my plants. I also treat them with insecticidal soap. .. I really have no clue why this is happening :(

I’m sorry I do hope you are able to save her! Or at the very least salvage some corms!

Overwatering, insufficient light, and sensitivity to tap water can make them go yellow. Overwatering- Zebrinas like evenly moist soil. I let the top inch of soil dry before watering. Insufficient light - I keep mine within 1 foot from a grow light running at least 12 hours a day. Water sensitivity - Use filtered or distilled water.

I use filtered water and have it on a schedule with watering. It’s moist soil, water when top inch is dry, and have it under a grow light at least a foot above ://

Did you check the roots to see if needs repotting? Did you change fertilizer? Did you check for the cage/mesh of death around the roots like in the photo?
