OVERwatered diagnosis?! OK, so I have always know a Fiddle is not the ideal plant for my climate/home but I thought that since we got a huge humidifier this year I could take one on…I got this guy from a friend and he looked pretty happy when he got here but has since dropped over 10 leaves and the brown edges have made their way to almost every leaf. The diagnosis AI said overwatered but I have been waiting a week for the top few inches to dry out and it has plenty of drainage and is not sitting in water. Help! Does anyone else think overwatering is the case? The air vent next to it is always closed and it is in an east facing window. The last photo is of when I brought him home…

Fiddles like either cermatic or terracotta pot. It’s prob in shock rn. It is def over watered they also need very bright light tbh I have mine under a light to give it that ex need. Make sure the soils is FULLY dry not just the top and personally I don’t use a humidifier on mine I just spray it occasionally

Also try taking it out of the decorative pot and just let it chill with its own pot the pot could also trap in more moisture and humidity

Don’t fertilize it with just any fertilizer
