With 60% humidity, watch out for mold. Like, not just in your plant. 😅

I believe this is a type of calathea or prayer plant… something along those lines. They thrived for me with I lived in Pennsylvania but I moved to a super dry climate and don’t even try to care for them anymore. They won’t have it. I’d keep her in a group of plants, a pebble tray with water under her, and a humidifier. Bonus points if you can get an enclosed area (like an IKEA greenhouse) to force high humidity for her. Misting can be helpful, but not for humidity. It gives the plant a slightly higher humidity for like… 5 minutes. Spray too often and you risk leaf fungi. I spray my plants very occasionally because I enjoy it, probably more than the plants. Also, too wet of leaves and soil for too long increases the chance of mealy bugs and other pests. She’s a lil’ crispy. May just have to be that way. You can cut those feature off too, if you really want to fix aesthetic.

Is it possible the plant is too close to your heater and got zapped? Also just wondering why the top of your plant soil looks white? Looks like there’s some white stuff on the plant stem too. I hope that’s not mineral deposits. If it is, I recommend repotting

Just curious why you put diatomaceous earth on your plants? Do you have a pest issue? If you do, could the pests be causing your plant to be sad? When my Calathea starts looking sad it’s always a pest problem
