TarynI don’t know for sure, but for a lot of succulents it’s normal to have a powdery coating! Some of my little guys have it too and it’s totally normal for certain types of them :)

Yes that's why I'm wondering. It just seems like a lot of powder.

Definitely keep an eye on it! If it’s fuzzy or spotty instead of smooth then it might be something out of the normal like mildew. Fingers crossed for ya

PhilWhat is the name of the plant plus an overall pic would help. Sometimes hard to tell from just a closeup.

It is a paddle plant

ChrisIt looks like a paddle plant, which is a succulent. I have one and they do naturally have a powdery substance on them. I think it’s to protect them from pests.
