I keep seeing a little bug flying around my plant stand and can’t find where it’s coming from?? How do I kill whatever it is? I’ve heard of using cinnamon, so do you just sprinkle cinnamon on the soil and let it be? If anyone has any suggestions that are not expensive and easy to find at a classic Hannaford, that would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like fungus gnats. I use neem oil on the leaves and hydrogen peroxide mixed with water in the soil to kill any larvae or eggs. I also use zevo traps to catch any adults flying around

Also they like wet soil so try to let you soil completely dry before watering

I don’t know what a Hannaford is, but maybe they have these.. you can pick and choose which you’d like to do but they have all worked for me. -A Zevo trap (works if you turn most lights off at night, and doesn’t have to be replaced until the film is full) -Arbor insecticide to use when watering -Systemic Granules and/or Mosquito bits - they sit in the soil and the gnats HATE them 🤭 -New soil? With my heavily infested plants I will give them all new soil and hose off their roots outside or in the sink before repotting back into the pot.
