what’s wrong with my pothos? my pothos has slowly been losing its leaves and idk why. it’s only the ones is the soil that are dying, the vine is perfectly fine. the picture of of the dead leaves is what i’ve been pulling off the plant.

The pot is too big holds too much water in the soil too long. The little vine can’t use up all that water. So, the roots rot from lack of oxygen. The soil needs to have great drainage with lots of aggregates like perlite. I would add a lot more perlite to the soil. I recommend cutting the vine into 5 or 6 segments and prop in water until the roots are 2 inches at least. Then, put all the rooted cuttings in a pot smaller than the current one. Given it about 12 hours a day under a grow light that’s within a foot of the plant. 🍀🪴
