She lost two leaves in less than a week, I’m watering her right now and I see this bug crawling up out of the water up the pot? Should I Repot? She also came with the nub next to her? Please someone help me save this plant

Okay, not positive but it looks like it might be thrips 😬 I’d look for a good pesticide, repot and pest treat the leaves and also I’ve seen a pesticide that can be mixed into the soil itself too.

I compared the two and it looks like it’s a pincher bug. You know if they are bag for the plant? Maybe the guy just happen to be in the area?

I don’t see thrips on your plant. The bug isn’t a plant pest. Could be too much sun (which direction is your window facing?) or your water may be hard. I have to give mine conditioned tap water/brita. She’s a princess. If you want to take insurance cuttings that may not be a bad idea. That’s the only reason I still have my plant. Prop cuttings in filtered water.

So I should propagate? And my window is facing east so it might be too much sun and yes our water is hard :(

Could be the water. That was the only thing that helped my plant. I was giving my plant water from a brita filter - I am currently trying API water conditioner with it
