Plant grow please

So have had this plant for a good year now and it never seemed to grow but it also never died then in the last month some of the plant died. This is the plant now, if any one knows how to help this little guy please let me know.

    Does it have good roots? What is the lighting situation? How do you water? There are a lot of factors that affect plants, and it’s hard to help or diagnose what’s going on if you don’t give much info

      Do you check that the soil is dry before watering? Or just water when plants says to water? I looked back thru the info on “Lilly” and it looks like it was a good bit larger in one of the pics?

      I only have one Hoya. It seems to be doing well. But from my research and experience, they like to dry out completely before watering. But not to stay dry for any length of time. That’s why I asked if you check the soil before watering

    I usually try to water it when it is dry but I be sure to make sure it drys out completely before watering, thank you!
