My ficus burgundy hasn't grown at all in the almost year I've had it. It's lost most its burgundy color and some leafs have been wilted for months. I repotted it around 3 months ago believing it needed more space (the pot is only a little bigger than the roots). The roots are very thick and circular and now I'm wondering if maybe it's been root bound this whole time? Any suggestions would be very helpful 😮‍💨

What kind of light does it get? I find ficus do best directly in a window

It's right next to an east facing window and i also have a grow light in front of it and a couple other plants

Mine also had wilting leaves until I repotted it and started giving it water and nutrients more frequently

I'll try watering it a little more often, I usually do every twoish weeks (sometimes earlier sometimes later depending)

Yeah you could try doing that! Mine is a bit smaller, in a south facing window and also in a terracotta pot and I water it every 5 days or so (Sweden, summertime) I let about 1/3 of the soil dry out for reference! Mine is a ficus elastica Abidjan though, so it might vary a little. It looks almost identical though
