Looking for help. My ZZ plant has been going strong for years. But the stem looks halfway woody and the leaves are yellow and falling off. Any way to help it hang on?

Let it dry out. Looks like overwatering. Check the roots for rot

If you are leaving water in the water globe all the time, then, it’s definitely overwatered as Michael indicated. Also, ZZ plants have thick “rhizomes” like growth that can hold more moisture than typical plants. Give it sufficient as well. Insufficient light can also cause yellowing. 🪴🍀

Zz plants have power to store their on water, if you do anything I would do a self watering pot but not a globe.. this is my Ravan Zz I got a week ago and it’s in a self watering pot..then my regular Zz.. both thriving in self watering pots
