Hello, i’m worried my plant is outgrowing its planter, and I also noticed what seem to be two separate stalks. I was first wondering if anyone could confirm that I should move this to a bigger planter or not, and if so, how big? Also, does anyone think it would be possible or prudent to separate the two stocks into two separate planters? Thank you for any insight!

I want to point out, the plant you have is a Aglaonema Golden Madonna and not a dieffenbachia. I would leave it as is until roots grows out of the drainage holes. Makes for a fuller plant, unless you want to separate into 2 plants.

Agreed. These plants enjoy being more snug in their pots and getting a little rootbound, so unless the roots are poking out of the drainage holes, I would leave it in its current pot
