Hi y’all I noticed this today with my Zebrinas stem. Is this rot? I checked the roots and they look fine. I am needing to change it to a larger pot though and I’ll be doing that tomorrow.

    Cut off the plant below the rotting area. The plant will regrow if the roots are good. It looks like overwatering. It could be a fungal infection. My photo shows some of my banana plants that get cut down to ground level every winter. They grow back in spring because the roots never freeze. 🪴🍀

      Thank you! I have my own banana trees outside that come back every year. This is my first time having one indoors.

      It’s harder to raise them indoors without a lot of direct light or a very good grow light.
