Hi! I'm repotting some plants and planting some propagations, and i'm trying to use the soil from various other plants of mine that died... I'm noticing a few wood lice and other tiny insects, is this a problem for house plants or is the soil still okay to use? Thank you :)

You could disinfect your soil - microwave/oven or hydrogen peroxide. I’ve done it in the past . You’ll want to make sure you are fertilizing however. I don’t do this practice anymore for what it’s worth

Don’t do it. Repot with new, clean soil. If the plants died, it might be due to the pests in the soil. I prefer to use a soilless potting mix to prevent pests from hatching in my house. My favorite for my Philodendrons, Pothos and Alocasia’s is Molly’s Aroid mix. But you can find other brands on Amazon or Walmart.
