My calatheas leaves are turning yellow/brown. I thought it was due to too much direct sunlight, so I moved it away from the window. Could there be any other possibilities? Thanks!

Very likely too much sun. Since it’s a tropical plant and used to growing under dense trees, my four calathea are thriving in bright indirect light near a humidifier.

Should I cut these leaves off or is it okay to leave them?

I usually remove damaged leaves to help the plant focus on growing new healthy ones.
