Hi! I've got thrips 😭. And it looks like they're pretty widespread. I have a couple of questions that hopefully aren't too obvious. First is App related. Can I mark all my plants as sick in one go? I have too many plants to be going through each one by one diagnosing. I guess I can skip it as I have the schedule for a couple of plants, but for accuracy of recovery, it would be ideal to attach a blanket filter (if you will) in the app. 2nd, I'm wondering if some plants are more resistant, or less favoured by the Thrips? Whilst some plants withered and does in days, my monstera, elephant ear, and philodendron seem like they have been affected, but only a little, and look much more likely to pull through? 3rd. I'm a bit anchor of spraying my propagating plants with strong pesticide? Will they be OK? (monstera and philodendron in water, with happy roots currently). Thanks for your time and feedback! Going to go give them all a shower and a good spray now!

    unfortunately i don't think there's a way to mark multiple plants as sick in one go. you can put it in your notes app which ones are affected and slowly go through to mark each one over a few days, just put which day you noticed thrips on them in the text box on the progress updates. some plants are definitely more prone or more resistant to certain pests, and this can be because of different leaf shapes and root sizes and care, but the ones you've listed are actually more prone to thrips and i think in those cases it may be a matter of you catching them early as opposed to them being unattractive to thrips. propagating plants will definitely be just fine being sprayed with a pesticide, just give the roots a good wash after and change the water they're in so the pesticides doesn't do any damage to the plant itself.
