Tried removing the rot as best as I could which was unfortunately basically all the roots… I also did a hydrogen peroxide treatment as was suggested to me but I’m wondering if I should be using root hormone or something? I’m probably going to cut the dead leaves shown in the picture, I’m just worried about the plant going into shock and making the other leaves die too :(

Okay so. I had a beautiful alocasia Polly that I moved over to semi-hydro, and it was not a fan. It lost all of its leaves and roots, but the corm stayed firm. As long as the corm is okay, there’s still hope. Even if you lose all roots and leaves.

Do you think my corm looks okay? I’m slightly worried because I don’t know if the brown parts have any rot

I think so. Is it firm?

My silver dragon is in a mix of orchard bark and miracle gro indoor potting mix. It just got done blooming. She’s had about 6 corms in the last 2-3 years I’ve had it. I’ve repotted 3 times. I water about once every week and half. I’ve learned alocasia don’t like to be dry but they don’t like to be soaked either. When I water I water till water comes out the bottom then stops.

i would definitely cut all those dead leaves, leaving the one healthy one to photosynthesize. I've had my Dragon die down to one leaf & now she's back & thriving.
