Anybody have any clue what this is? It’s on my parents plants. I can’t see any legs on the white spots. When I touch the webs nothing moves including these teensy brown spiders. The whole plant is covered in webs and white dots.

It could be spider mites! I’ve just done lots of research on them since my tomato plant has caught them :/ I read hosing down your plant top to bottom and spraying neem oil all over 1-2 x weekly will help
2 Mi piaceThis plant is so heavy that we can’t move it to hose down. That was my first suggestion as well 🥲 We’re going to have to hand wipe it and spray the neem oil (even if everything looks dead)

YouTube AlohaPlantLife spider mites video. It is extremely helpful. Good luck 🍀
1 mi piaceI definitely will! Thank you!
1 mi piaceIsolate the plant. They spread very quickly. Treat nearby plants.
1 mi piaceIts always been isolated thank goodness! Worried more about recovery. It’s a lemon tree and supposedly hasn’t been producing fruit for a year or two. With the amount of webs and specks on it, I’m not surprised 😬
1 mi piaceSpider mites. Shower the plant down with room temp water, tops and bottoms of leaves the best you can. Then treat with insecticidal soap (neem oil+Dr bronners) tops and bottoms of leaves. Spray again with insecticide weekly until you don’t see any more signs.
1 mi piaceIs it possible that the spider mites killed themselves? Nothing is moving. Not sure if the white legless blobs are eggs
0 Mi piaceNever mind. I think the white blobs are actually cast skin 🤢 Not sure where the brown spider mites went.
