Errrrr might it be time to repot? Maybe overdue even? Im terrified of overwatering w this one. If i do repot, do i need to loosen the roots or just pop it into a slightly bigger pot? I havent had it for too long so i cannot tell you how long its been in here lol
Repot in a bigger pot. About 1-2 inches bigger

I personally don’t loosen the roots. They find the new soil and grow down into it with no problems for me. Just pot it up in a pot that is 1-2 inches larger than the root ball
1 mi piaceAgreed ^^^ I only mess with roots if there is a reason (rot, pests, etc.). If they’re healthy I leave them alone.

I would lightly run the edge of a gardening spade on the roots in a hatch pattern to loosen up the outer roots so they can enjoy the new soil better. This would make a really cool bonsai if you did want to remove some of the roots.
