This ZZ plant seems to be breaking off stems. See stems at soil mark. Any suggestions? We thought root bound maybe but not sure.

Are you running it on the dry side like the very dry side? If not it could be a watering issue.

It was fairly dry and I just watered it,

PhilYou replied “fairly dry”. That probably is not dry enough. Soil should be totally dry because ZZ plants store water in their roots. So best guess is overwatering.
